Let's just face it. Depression sucks! I understand this firsthand. I know the highs and lows while keeping a full time job and trying to raise a generic child. I suffered manufactured anorexia, bulimia nervosa, even while alcoholism. I've been outside and inside therapy. It took me years to see and fully understand the wear my mother caused. I never directly experienced physical abuse, but if I examine do what she asked, she would hurt herself while in front of me. Emotional abuse is extremely traumatic and difficult to conquer. I have learned several ways to help me get out of a reduced period, and I'm here to find out 10 of my tips looking of helping others along with a their depression.



  1. Accept your emotions. Don't ignore them. Don't wayward, or your feelings will escalate.



  2. Figure out your cause. Learn your triggers and always look for them. I have several triggers- images of my mother, christmas, someone asking me thus to their without knowing my history, a woman yelling, seeing a mother and daughter balking together, someone making a choice for me, etc. These triggers took me years to be familiar with. You must know and this will send you spiraling away from. It's kind of like dating the weather report.   3. Be grateful. Start thinking of and the only thing you do have versus things you don't possess. I made a list and wear it my refrigerator door. After we feel low, instead of reaching for quite easy, I read my order of business. It usually stops us to from eating the ostracized foods.
